Part 1.
Rhode Island School of Design 1988-91, New England College BA Art 1992
Recently found watercolors my kids had never used. Making things since forever. I will use whatever is around; from nail polish to craypas, clay, food, sneaker scraps, fabric, clay, paint.
The process is therapeutic.
Currently into Parisian bridges. Brings me back to a place I love as I explore watercolors and switch out of thinking and into feeling.
A painting that evokes the place while showing brush strokes that say 'this is a painting' that doesn't render all realistically but can still make the eye believe. Perfectly imperfect is what I strive for. And to trick the eye.
